		<description>Another interesting event I missed!  Think I agree that Cofer had good points--except for the lack of accountability of mercenaries/security subs in Iraq.

But let's not forget about Afghanistan.  Some years ago, there was an attempted assassination of Karzai by a lone gunman who went up to Karzai's vehicle with a gun.  Two bystanders grabbed the would-be assassin and wrestled him to the ground.  Karzai's American mercenary guards blew all three away.

That was the trained reaction of  mercs, not  policemen.  Good mercs protect the principal at all costs.  Good policemen consider guilt or innocence.  So it goes.</description>
